The 23rd Combat Brigade is cross platform (PC, Xbox, and Playstation) and is easy to join as long as you meet the requirements:
- A working microphone for in game comms
- 16+
- An interest in organized tactical gameplay that emphasizes realism
- A commitment to meeting and upholding unit standards
If you meet those requirements there's only three steps left to joining in on operations:
- Join our discord.
- Fill out our join application done by a discord bot.
- Complete your BCT
The Recruitment Pipeline: Start to Finish
Phase 1: Introduction
You Are Here. Somehow, you were introduced to the unit and ended up here, deciding whether or not to join. We hope you do, but we understand we aren't for everyone. Keep reading and we'll go over what you can look forward to after joining the 23rd Combat Brigade.
Phase 2: Recruit
So you decided to join the discord. Welcome to the unit! We're glad you joined up! That being said you're not deployable yet. Fill out the Join Application with our discord bot so we can get to know you a little bit as well. After you're application has been reviewed and accepted by the appropriate personnel (wait times vary, may take up to 24 hours for application review.) Once your application has been accepted, Conrgatulations! You've now enlisted with the 23rd Combat Brigade and will be assigned the rank of PVT allowing you more access to the discord and the ability to meet the rest of the unit.
Phase 3: Basic Combat Training (BCT)
In BCT you'll be introduced to everything you need to know to be successful as a Rifleman here at the 23rd.
New to the game and need to learn controls? No problem! We have people on every platform, if a Drill Sergeant doesn't know the keybind on your system they can find out!
Experienced with the game but new to Milsims? Don't Worry, you'll learn everything you need to know to keep up on operations during BCT.
Are you a seasoned Milsim player or have IRL experience? Don't worry! We won't lecture you needlessly on information you already have. Run through the course, prove yourself, and learn our unit SOPs that will be relevant to you while doing it.
After graduating BCT you will be promoted to the rank of PV2 and will be eligible to attend all unit trainings and operations as part of a fire team.
Please be aware BCT must be completed within fourteen (14) days of joining the unit. If you are unable to complete BCT in this time frame you must have scheduled a BCT with a Drill Sergeant to avoid being removed from the unit.
