
MOS List
This is a comprehensive list of ALL MOS Currently integrated with, or planned to be integrated with, the 23rd Combat Brigade.
Please read each MOS description carefully. Some are available upon joining, some are currently full, and other's may be open but require additional time and/or training requirements before filling that role.
All MOS availability is subject to immediate change without notice. Open/Closed MOS status may not accurately reflect the current status of the MOS availability.
11B - Rifleman - Open

The standard Infantryman capable of serving in multiple capacities. Most commonly assigned to assault elements, but can be assigned to support teams as well.
11B - Anti-Tank (AT) - Open

The AT role requires training and certification on the M4 MAAWs (Gustaf) and it's different munitions. After successfully completing the AT certification and stepping into an AT role you will be tasked with engaging enemy armored elements either as part of an assault element or a heavy weapons support team.
11B - Grenadier (GD) - Open

Riflemen with an upgrade. Grenadiers trade their bayonet for a M203 under-barrel grenade launcher and undergo additional frag grenade training. After being certified as a Grenadier and stepping in to an available role you will most commonly be assigned to assault elements, and will be called upon for helping engage heavily fortified enemies using your 40mm to break defenses at a distance and frags to hit gaps up close.
11B - Machine Gunner (MG) - Closed

Machine Gunners fill a variety of roles and are critical to mission success, and therefore, like the roles prior, require additional training and certifications on the MG systems. A machine gunner can be assigned to both assault elements and support teams and the weapon system they carry depends on the mission they are tasked with.
A machine gunner assigned to an assault element will carry a M249, providing close suppressing fire and helping to keep the rear of the element secure as it moves to and through the OBJ.
A machine gunner assigned to a support fire team will carry the M240B and will be tasked with area suppression from a distance to aid the assault team as they hit the OBJ.
11B - Designated Marksman - Closed

Designated Marksman can be assigned to either Assault or Support Fire teams. Tasked primarily with mid-range engagements and counter sniping, a designated marksman does not carry the same reconnaissance or long range engagement responsibilities of a sniper and typically moves as part of a 4 man team or larger element rather than the sniper's two man teams. Requires certification on DMR systems and excellent marksmanship.
11B - Sniper - Coming Soon

A sniper's primary job is not to take out targets, but to observe and report on the enemy. To ensure high quality snipers the training process for snipers at the 23rd Combat Brigade is an extensive and selective process.
11C - Mortarman - Coming Soon

Mortar Men serve on Mortar Crews and provide Indirect Fire Support to the main element. If mission parameters do not allow for IDF, Mortar Crews will act as 11B for that mission.
11A - Infantry Officer

Part of the command element for the unit they are assigned to. Additional administrative and command responsibilities. Extensive selection and training required.
12B - Combat Engineer - Closed

Combat Engineers are responsible for many tasks which may be planned or unplanned for while attached to support or assault elements. Some of the jobs Combat Engineers perform in the 23rd:
- Route Clearance
- FOB Planning & Construction
- Defensive Infrastructure and Fighting Positions
- EOD
- Many More
12A - Engineer Officer

Part of the command element for the unit they are assigned to. Additional administrative and command responsibilities. Extensive selection and training required.
68W - Combat Medic - Closed

Combat Medics fill can be tasked to several different kinds of missions depending on operational needs:
- Frontline Medic assigned to assault or support teams
- MEDEVAC Medic assigned to an Ambulance or a MEDEVAC Bird
- Trauma Care Medic assigned to a field hospital and finishes patching up and healing casualties after a medevac.
68A - Medical Officer

Part of the command element for the unit they are assigned to. Additional administrative and command responsibilities. Extensive selection and training required.
88M - Logistics Truck Driver - Open

88Ms are charged with the ground logistical support of the infantry and other support units. Whether its transporting troops, supplies, equipment, fuel, etc. through friendly territory or forward positions, if it's in a big truck the 88Ms move it.
19C - Bradley Crewman - Coming Soon

15T - Crew Chief - Open

Enlisted Members of the Airwing. They aid pilots on the ground by helping to ensure the bird is properly prepared before take off and serve as gunners while in flight.
153A - Rotary Wing Pilot - Closed

Flies in support of ground troops based on mission assignment.
Possible assignments include:
- Air Reconnaissance
- Convoy Escort
- Medevac
- Transport
- CAS
Must meet the requirements to be an officer and meet extensive flight training criteria to qualify.
